The Power of Lucidity

I saw a social media post of a person saying you need to be delusional about your dreams and goals. I’ve also heard people say they are delulu about their lives or choices as a new slang term. I understand people think delusional means to see something far off in a distance that might not be clear or with uncertainty. This is the opposite of how you should see or imagine your goals, dreams, or visions.

What people don’t realize is delusions are connected to psychotic behavior. The psychosis is based on biochemistry imbalances in the mind. Using delusional as a term associated with goals and dreams minimizes the serious nature of psychotic disorders. They are the most severe and least diagnosed making the behavior rare.

What people need to understand is having goals, dreams, and visions is being lucid or having lucidity. Lucidity is key in achieving your plans, goals and dreams. Lucidity does not require a full view but a clear and logical basic understanding of what you want to do and who you are. It starts with having one goal or one idea. Write down the idea and as you focus, plan, brainstorm, and strategize, your dreams, visions and goals will take root.

Lucidity is connected to being bright and luminous. When you feel your dreams seem hard to imagine or they are taking long to accomplish, go into the inner light of your dreams and goals. When you focus and work on your goals you are connecting to your inner light and divine purpose. When you feel life is going against you, become lucid and plug into ideas, people, activities and places that light you up or connect to your light to brighten and lift your spirits.

I get the issue that some people might not understand your goals, plans, or dreams. That’s okay. The main point is that it must make sense to you. Lucid is an internal process and not external. It becomes external when you write it down and speak to people about it. As you share your dreams with others, they could give you a look, stay silent, smirk, laugh or think you’re delusional. It might feel like an attack or insult but they did not get the vision – you did! At this point, you might feel a bit crazy, but that’s okay. Every person that did anything new or unrealistic was seen as crazy or delusional. You just must be lucid, clear, logical, and keep going until you accomplish your goals. Have the belief in what you see and understand.

As you start to do more work on your goals and dreams, people will notice and appreciate your dedication and commitment to your plans. They will see and respect your commitment and probably support you in some way when you least expect it. Keep going but take breaks to enjoy life and all you have accomplished. Sooner or later, the delusions will become soooo lucid, that your

inner light will shine on those you meet, inspiring them to do the same.
